That’s not necessarily good.Thought this was a fluke and otherwise liked the machine so returned and purchased another one.Know before you buy:– The serving sizes for Cup, XL Cup, Travel Mug, and XL Multi-serve do NOT stay warm because the ‘intelligent’ warming plate feature and “Stay Warm” button is only available for the Half or Full carafe serving. It appears the machine is “pouring” instead of dripping when making coffee.DO NOT BUY ANY OF THEIR TRASH.Definitely saves some time. The Ninja CP301 is so wonderful.Well, the single cup size is ridiculously large.Still trying to fine tune the tea and coffee amounts to create the best flavor.First Try [Summary: Machine never worked – Faulty water sensor]:After opening the box, I put the parts together and followed the instructions for the first two priming cycles.I’ve owned makers that make single cups and full pots of coffee, but this one makes a horrible single cup that’ll leave your favorite mug a gritty, sludgy mess. And this was definitely an upgrade. The machine did not draw in any water, but the heating elements still activated.I wanted something that we could both use since it is a coffee maker on the more pricey side.I had seen some other Ninja models but the Ninja logo and some of the designs didn’t appeal to me. Needed to replace a regular coffeemaker for the house.I dutifully purchased each new shiny machine ever year or two as they upgraded.I had a Keurig at one point, but it had issues with scaling and after a while wouldn’t work properly.Got her the glass craft because of the reviews about the thermal craft not holding temp.
It’s compact and makes great coffee. You see I filled the water reservoir last night and if you don’t get it seated just right the water slowly leaks out.Coffee machine that produced a basic brew.It is a nice size, fits under standard cabinets, is quiet and I have had no issues with ‘steaming’ or leaking, at all.I really liked previous models, but 2 out of 3 had the dreaded “clean” cycle issues that just would not go away.As a senior citizen this was physically impossible for me to do.This one plus the previous model which essentially was the same excluding the tea making function.Coffee ever gave – with the exact same coffee.I had a Cuisinart previously and the coffee always tasted bitter due to being overheated.Plus I can make almost any type of coffee there is! I have other Ninja products and the brand is quickly becoming one of my favorites! One of the best features of this product is that it stores nicely.Of course I bought it brand new this time around for it was a nightmare when i at first purchased a used one.We enjoy the Ninja products we have and I had seen the infomercials for the IQ Coffee Bar, so when I saw this Ninja Hot and Cold Brewed System, my husband and I decided to splurge. This isn’t going to compete with the $3,000 machines at your local coffee shop. The only issues I have noticed is that when making iced coffee or cold brew the basket occasionally kicks open and it doesnt finish the cycle.I’m a bit of a tea snob that tends to buy more expensive, high-grade teas.So far, I like this machine much more than the Coffee Bar.99 Mr Coffee that we’ve had for probably a couple decades.I found this and I admit I figured too good to be true.Every single morning, I wake up to whatever was in the reservoir being on the kitchen counter and floor. They told us that they needed to replace it, so they instructed us to cut the chord and email them a photo of it for proof.
Overall the unit is nice, works fine.It makes excellent coffee by the carafe. It didn’t consistently leak, however. It is made SO well.I followed all Ninja instructions and tips and tricks I could find online but none of them worked. But other than that ive had it for over a month and its my fav purchase. It arrived on time and in good condition. No regrets. We’ve had it 3 months now and it does everything as advertised. The main reason is that I hate to use mesh reusable baskets because they always take on a flavor that is imbued into the coffee no matter how many times I wash it in the dishwasher. But, once you figure out what you like its pretty simple.I make a full pot 2-3 times a day, and the clean indicator light hasn’t turned on yet. It’s got everything you need to brew a fantastic cup of coffee. It also does a decent job with tea, and using the separate coffee and tea baskets, I haven’t had any issues with my tea tasting like coffee.Well, I am convinced that I made a good decision when I purchased this Ninja.Admittedly we like strong coffee and tend to use more coffee than the recommended number of scoops suggested. This is hands down the best home coffee machine I have ever had.I didn’t want a Keurig since they’re insanely wasteful and the one we have at work makes really awful coffee no matter what pods I’ve tried .I used to spend $3 4-5 times a week on Iced Coffee at Dunkin or Starbucks, with this machine I brew cold-brew for a few days at a fraction of the cost. This is our second ninja.
