Everything about the design makes complete sense starting with the removable water reservoir that makes it so easy to wash compared to a basic coffee maker where it’s built into the main unit and you basically wash the reservoir on “clean” mode .2) Now today, I set the coffee pot on my granite counter top…set, not slammed, and it cracked. It’s incredibly easy to use and figure out for delay settings/keeping warm time etc but the thing I love the most is the carafe. We are foodies and coffee is one of our things, but don’t have time for a French press. This is not your Mom’s coffee maker, by any means.Tried cleaning it to no avail.I love my French press and I still think it makes the best coffee but is not practical for a crowd or for a husband who needs to have coffee ready when he wakes up in order to function. No more finding the perfect angles to fill the water and splilling it everywhere.Makes great coffee, and design is great.I doubt anyone washes their glass pot everyday. However a big selling point for me was that you didn’t need strainers .The water holder is very unwieldy and I can’t fill it completely as it spills in the 3ft I have to carry it.It covered all the must haves and looks good. The first pot on classic setting made extremely weak coffee.Even though it costs about the same as other “mid-to-highish-end” coffee makers, the density of the plastic was the first thing that struck me.But NO! It is very tall and the filter basket doesn’t swing out.I just recently purchased my Ninja coffee maker & I truly love it.Updating to 5 stars. My wait time was less than a minute.

Simple to use and clean. If the permanent filter means anything to you just keep looking. This company has spent quite a bit of time on the research and engineering of this coffee maker. In the mid time I had ordered ce251.Coffee brews quickly and tastes fine. I loved this coffee maker at first, but it started leaking water out of the bottom after three months of daily use.I have tried several others that were difficult to clean which caused a bitter taste. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because it has a clock to set and programming for the delay for morning coffee which is all lost when electricity goes out, which it does often due to SDGE electric company turning everyone off when it is windy.I especially like the detachable water reservoir. This coffee pot is not worth the time or money. Was great for 2 days! My girlfriend accidentally broke the carafe.I didn’t expect much from “Ninja” and, after purchasing their excellent blender, was pleasantly surprised.I honestly didn’t even know a coffee maker could bring so much joy, but here we are.The water reservoir is convenient to remove. This coffee maker is enough to make me a Ninja fan! Well designed, and really easy to use .It makes great coffee, is easy to fill, and easy to clean. However it didnt work for me.Buy anything but Ninja ![/review3][review4] I want to love this coffee maker but it has serious flaws.

It makes great coffee, is easy to fill, and easy to clean.A replacement pot is not available from the company any time soon.Buttons work well and not cheap feeling. The requirement when purchasing a new coffee maker was the ability to take the machine apart and clean it. We’ve had many brands of coffee makers thru the years – including Mr.Faster coffee makers make weak coffee and adding more grounds won’t correct for that.I’m a long-time Cuisinart fan (immersion blender, coffeemaker, toaster, food processor, etc.Tried using Aeropress, too.I roast my own coffee and pour overs are my favorite way to brew and this is basically a pour over machine.Seems like a small thing but it’s so useful. While brewing the suction is incredibly loud and slow.I expected much more from this given the high number of 5 star reviews and the price tag, but trust me, I will never spend a dime on another Ninja again. It’s easy to program. With the Ninja it’s really nice to finally have a seperate water tank for an easy fill and no mess! Best of all the carafe that doesn’t leak! I like the small batch option for when we want a few more cups.? Great quality coffee, and with the special “rich” setting, the results are comparable to french press. One of the top selling points for me was the fact that the machine has a removable water reservoir.Like that it is easy to clean, easy fill and well made. The coffee with the Ninja tastes great, it’s hot, and the carafe does not drip.
