And I had another Cuisinart before it.However after receiving the item I realized this function is useless because even if you click the small batch button all of the water in the tank dispenses.I just ordered one to have at my son’s when I visits as he has a Keurig which I don’t prefer.Makes consistent cups of coffee each day and makes good coffee! Best, the water reservoir comes off, has a great grip, and fills easily.Set up was easy. The plastic lid that locks into place and plastic lip on the carafe are also nice and make it more functional.Every night, we set it to Rich and make sure Small Batch is turned off before activating Delay Brew.I used the classic brew option and the coffee was like coffee flavored water.I went looking for something that would make a quality brew, but also have a removable water reservoir for ease of use.I finally decided to try the Ninja.I’ve been very pleased with this new machine.I discovered that there were no replacement carafes available that would work with the machine.I did a lot of research on coffee makers before deciding on this one. machine worked great for the first 4 days, then I wake up expecting the smell of coffee, nothing.I had researched several coffee makers here on Amazon and decided on the Ninja due to the mostly positive reviews.I read a gazillion reviews and was willing to spend 3x what I spent for this gem, but in the end we are happy with our purchase.Coffee was acting up after 1 year of use.

And I only brew about 3 1/2 cups a day and don’t leave the burner on more than 20 minutes, usually less, so there’s no good reason why they they should not last longer (Update: I descaled the Cuisinart with one third white vinegar and two thirds water, even though the clean light has never come on, and now it’s back to hot coffee. We use less grounds than with our bunn.I’ve cleaned it out before using it because I noticed the white residue then.So this time I decided to try something new.It packed up after I had it for less than two months. Two of them lasted a total of four years. If I had done this by date instead of rating then I would have seen a gluttony of 5 star reviews all around the same dates.I have a little coffee nook that is on the other side of the dining room from my kitchen. That was wrong.I’m 50yrs old and far sighted so it was easy to miss the clear tape.Coffee tastes great! It does take 15 min to brew, but that is not a bad thing.Cons:-We make the mistake of getting the one with the re-usable filter, which means you have to rinse it out every time, rather than just tossing a paper filter. We have used it for over a week and it makes the best tasting, hottest coffee.I chose this one mostly due to the removable water reservoir.I went and bought another brand today. There is a small amount of sediment that comes through. We’ve been through almost every brand out there.I wish I had gone with a Mr.I did not receive a free pot or any discount for my review. The maker will fault off and beep, which is a good safety feature, and I presume is happening because the heating element is overheating? When this is happening about a third to half of the water is being evaporated, not going into the carafe.

2) It uses cone filters, which I find preferable.00 plus shipping.I spent several hours reading the reviews and found that a lot of other people are having the same experience even on the more expensive models.Flavor is unexceptional. It’s replacing a Cuisinart whose electronic circuitry started crapping out after maybe two years.Finding a replacement was the challenge as though the OXO Brew pour over was very highly rated, we had tried it at our son’s house and did not share the enthusiasm over its performance.IT HAS BEEN THE MOST AWESOME COFFEE POT I HAVE EVER OWNED AND I AM A PREVIOUS KEURIG OWNER.But mainly, the Teflon finish on this plate: I have never seen this before.I love STRONG coffee.First assessment out of the box is that is sturdy and well made. When the carafe broke on my other coffee maker I decided to upgrade instead of buying a new carafe., and clean.Programmable 2) could make as few cups as needed or up to 10 cups.My household drinks a lot of coffee, so the coffee maker was used for an average of two pots per day.Get a coarse grinder and it’ll change everything. The grips on the bottom of the machine make it difficult to slide it out for brewing and then back into place once it’s finished. This unit seems solidly built and thoughtfully designed, from the removable water tank to the carafe spout and lid, and looks pretty attractive on the counter.1) Leaks.Easy and simple coffee maker. It is larger than the 4-cup, obviously, but still compact enough to fit perfectly in the spot where I kept it.
