.easy to clean. It gets the water hot enough for excellent extraction & it’s a really good alternative for those who use k-cups.The only thing I am unhappy about is it is a little difficult to scrub the inside of the decanter because the opening at the top is a little narrow. Both the large and small basket delivered the same quality cup of coffee. I’ve had this coffee maker one month to the day.First, when I’m brewing coffee, the lights in the kitchen and adjacent bedroom flicker. But it comes out lukewarm every time. What Oxo have done is change the definition of a cup to 5 fl oz so they can say it’s an 8 cup coffee maker. my coffee has been great! but the product was so new when i got it i couldnt register it with oxo.As a result the flavor did not match the amount of coffee I put in the brewing cup. Easy to make single brews[/review2][review3] So far so good![/review3][review3] Perfect item to replace my old kuerig machine. The taste is great. The brew temperature was too hot, and our coffee tasted burnt/bitter.It is easy to use, easy to clean, makes great coffee.Easy to use, makes great coffee, it is worth the price![/review1][review2] great tasting coffee.

It takes minimal counter space and looks great. The coffee maker does not have a warming plate, but the coffee stayed hot for three hours in the carafe, I prefer using the single serve option.I would never say I’m a snob, but my coffee-drinking habits have been, whether by influence or personal tendency, very very specific. First of all, it’s bigger than I imagine.Huge.I wanted a coffee maker that made hot coffee.Just fill your mug with as much water as you’d want coffee and pour the water into the water tank .This 8-Cup Brewer is just as good in terms of the coffee that it makes, but is better in its smaller form factor. This updated model from OXO is easier to use, and in my opinion brews a pot of joe just as well.Big mistake. This should have been easy to use, yet I turned the top filter holder the wrong way and ended up getting grounds in the coffee, there is a water spout and a notch in the plastic holder and I did not align it and water could not freely disperse over the grounds. For a year I’ve been using a well-known coffeemaker that is highly rated, but has no brew-through lid, so you have to put the lid on after the coffee is made, and then it can’t go back on the stand—doesn’t sound like a lot but it can become a pain. Also how easy to clean it is.Holds temp about 2 hour then starts to cool.5 stars, but that’s not an option:* They consider a “cup” to be 5 oz, so this coffeemaker only brews a total of 40 oz, which is five 8 oz cups. Coffee quality is excellent, love its overall simplicity, easy to clean, and the carafe keeps the coffee nice and hot[/review4][review5] Replacing a bin vita maker that bit the dust.Half the stuff in our kitchen is OXO.

after 5 years of daily use.Simple design, clear instructions, easy to use.I recognize that these brewers do not produce the best cup of coffee, but I love them for their convenience.I mostly drink tea but like the occasional Cup O’ Joe here and there.I don’t consider myself a coffee connoiseur or snob, but I have gone through a lot of trouble to get coffee to taste the way I like it.Here was a chance. The OXO Brew came to me at the perfect time as I was in desperate need of a new coffee maker. It has a nice pot that keeps the coffee hot and it is easy to take it on the go if you want to.I like that’s it’s quite compact and doesn’t take up too much valuable counter space. There are 2 provided filters, one for when you brew a whole pot and one for when you are brewing just a cup.My favorite feature is being able to brew a single cup of coffee and also that it has a self cleaning cycle[/review5][review6] I have used the OXO brand baby products before, for example stroller accessories, baby food freezer tray, and others.
