Then I woke up one morning, walked past the machine as I pushed the power button, and within 5 seconds I heard water splashing all over my countertop. So I bought the K-Select, thinking it would solve that problem…which it did.Amazon Customer Service have been really good about replacing units, but I am now getting a 3rd unit shipped to me .) when you press the power button, it will let you let you make you selection and pour you a COLD cup of Coffee before it has time to warm up the water… 2) It doe not light up the Selection Buttons to indicate it is warmed up and ready for you to inset a K-Cup and make your selection like the older KEURIG makes do if you wait 2 or 3 minutes after pressing Power button, then make your selection this NEW K-Select series does make a good HOT cup of coffee, but there is no indication that it is ready to make Hot coffee, the only indication is that the Power Button is lit up and not any of the Selection buttons before you insert your C-Cup.The color is stunning with my kitchen decor.I am on my 4th replacement unit.I pressed the "on" button and hot water began pouring out of the spout splashing and burning my hands.I finally gave in and tried the Keurig at the office, and after several days I liked the quickness and convenience of it.I researched a new single server and read many reviews. But no complaints so far, I’ll update if anything happens worth revisiting for.I bought this to replace seven year old model that finally died.I had ours ordered before we even left..I’ve repeatedly taken it apart and cleaned it, but that keeps happening.Recently Cuisinart replaced the SS-700 with the poorly engineered flimsy SS-10 model, which I returned because it tends to spray coffee all over the place. It’s white, which I wanted for my kitchen, it doesn’t have the digital, which I hope will make it work longer BUT it is SOOO cheaply made.I’ve made hundreds and hundreds of cups of coffee in it.Last night first time using and every review relating to flaws occurred, totally unsatisfied. We’ve found it fast, convenient and durable. It doesn’t take very long for the water to heat and then it can make multiple cups without waiting long for thenext cup’s water to be hot.
This coffee maker only works when it wants to.And the coffee is not all that hot.Even a small 4 cup pot was too much and was awful if left on the heat for several hours or simply wasted if tossed out …let’s face it, everyone LOVES fresh brewed coffee! Now, every cup is fresh brewed! Also note that pretty much every brand, flavor, and strength of coffee is avaliable in K-cups.It only makes a little noise when the coffee if finally dripping into the cup, but that’s expected. It simply does not brew coffee. Now when I turn the unit on to preheat its starts leaking from somewhere all around where the coffee mug sits.Just as shown on pic. It’s fast and pretty quiet. However, I am very disappointed since I find my self is struggling with it.It looked like it was made from plastic material that cheap toys are made from.Love it! Was working great. Love this Keurig. In terms of usability it is similar to the original Kuerig, just really suped up.Noise but no coffee. We would plug it in, press the power button and immediately unheated water would pour from the machine. It is hard to find white Keurigs anymore and was so was excited when I found this one.I am not happy that it is very plasticy.
I purchased the 60s colored one and coffee splatters everywhere and it looks terrible you have to clean it every time. The charcoal filter is a nice touch and makes me less worried about how clean it is inside.Approximately two months later, I had to call Keurig to get a replacement part for the plastic water receptacle.I also use this to make hot cocoa and apple cider, but with packets, not the overpriced pods.My old Coffee Maker died, and I decided to give a Keurig a try.As soon as it was plugged back in and turned on, it started pumping again.Sometimes it would stop brewing 1/3 of the way or leak a little, but it usually worked well.We replaced our keurig from 2015 and upgraded for this one.Can get a cup of coffee first thing.Unfortunately it does not easily pierce all brands of k-cups.But it came exactly how I seen it at target same price.Pump was still running even after the reservoir was completely empty. That was a waste of time, money & coffee!I bought this machine with the sole hope that it would brew stronger coffee using my reusable pods – as it states it will do.I am upgrading from a Keurig without a reservoir so this should be a treat for me.Already tried it out with tea, coffee and hot chocolate.I used to keep a self-fill K-cup in the brewer to get hot water.Denise in customer service and I tried to reset the auto off with no luck, my coffee maker is still under company warrant so she is sending me a new one free of charge.I liked the 2.When our old one died, we didn’t hesitate to purchase a new one.
