10 ranging from cheap to $200 including Cuisinart, Hamilton Beach, Mr Coffee). We also realized that since the carafe was metal, we couldn’t see how much coffee was left inside .I was excited as this is my first experience with my own Keurig product. The coffee comes out hot and tasty. You can make one cup using purchased kcups or the my kcup re-usable adapter using your favorite grounds or brew a 6,8,10,12 cup carafe using your favorite grounds. The water didn’t spread over the grounds evenly, leaving dry grounds and resulting in very weak coffee. The water canister can be placed on either side or in the back, making it that much easier to fit it into your available space. The pot keeps coffee hot literally all day.I didn’t think much of this when buying, but this will virtually prevent placing the machine on a counter top under cabinets, which is where many people place there coffee makers. The machine looks great, on my counter, and Keurig has truly made the best combo-machine out there! No where could I find how to brew 1 single serve ground coffee.I’m on my second duo+ in four weeks.Item slowly quit working within three weeks, the k-cup quit altogether and the coffee brewer took three tries before it would make a full carafe.I love at least 4 things about it.Have not tried paper filters yet, but a coffee maker should be able to handle all kinds of ground coffee.I had a bunn and a generic Keurig wannabe that died. This duo is amazing.(The one from China, was unusable, due to a terrible odor that just wouldn’t go away, no matter how many times I washed it out.She didn’t like the pot and said it was cheaply made.I have tried cleaning it with descale cleaner once already and now after a couple weeks of use am having the same problem with it not dispensing the water.

Amazon had a great coupon so I decided to splurge knowing what this new Keurig had to offer.Inferior product..Enter this machine, which gives you the best of both worlds.Plus, the metal pot/carafe is extremely well insulated, and it keeps the coffee warm for a long time without having to keep the pot on a burner, as you have to do with uninsulated glass carafes. You just turn the coffee machine on.I have purchased several different types of reusable k-cup coffee filters, which none of them fit! I contacted Keurig Customer service to explain my issue, of which they assured me that the My K-Cup Universal Filters would work.Coffee was hot for about 45mins, at the most.Slim design and adjustable water reservoir. The only thing is when I opened the box an odd smell emanated from cardboards but the product was perfectly new without smell or issues but I had to get rid of box ASAP.It’s easy to clean, easy to fill, coffee stays hot for hours without the annoying burnt coffee smell that you sometimes get with a hot plate, and both the coffee in the carafe and single cups taste great!!! This Version is Awful! I would NOT recommend purchasing! All we’ve ever owned has been Keurig products and all of them have had issues. We use the unit for making single cups and carafes interchangeably.Heard the old adage even a broken clock is right twice a day? Not even close, I have to reset this every day before I can set it for the morning. Now I’ve been using it since a week after purchase and here are my thoughts about it:Pros:-Very sleek and stylish looking model which takes minimal counterspace-The water reservoir can be attached on the left, right or back as per need, which I thought is a nice feature– can make both single serve and a carafe as per need– the carafe again is very stylish and keeps coffee warm for hours unlike glass carafes which get cold in far lesser time.then I need to unplug it for a few seconds to reset it.I really like the K-Duo plus feature for later in the day when you don’t have the time to make a full pot of coffee. The coffee wasn’t hot either way.I mostly use single cup, and it does take a little longer due to the machine shutting down after idle for 5 minutes, which I find is a great safety feature.

I couldn’t be more pleased with it.It’s easy to use and has options I like such as the choice to make a strong cup.We like the clean convenient Kcup option but drink enough coffee in the morning to make a pot! The machine is easy to clean and has a great aesthetic! The side reservoir is THE BEST! Love this! Great coffee machine well worth spending the extra money for flavor and the carafe keeps coffee hot for over 3 hrs no hot plate burn and single k pod cups for fast cup of coffee and waking up to fresh brewed coffee with the timer would highly recomend I am so glad not to need 2 coffeepots on my counter now! I was surprised that the pot didn’t have a heater under it, but the thermos pot keeps coffee warm for a couple of hours, which is long enough. It brews great tasting coffee.I had a basic pod type Keurig unit for years but combining the economy of bulk coffee with the option of a single cup is very useful. The carafe keeps coffee hot longer than glass, but the outside is cool to the touch. It’s nice to have the option of a carafe or a pod.The thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot long enough to grab a few cups of coffees, and the space savings has been very appreciated too.TWO MAJOR DISLIKES – 1) the 12 cup pot is very hard to clean.I bought it because I wanted to maximize counter space and decided to try this 2 in 1 machine.Brews a great pot of coffee that keeps hot for 6+ hours. When we want a whole pot of coffee, it’s there. It makes excellent coffee by the carafe and single cup.It is very fast, very quiet and I have to admit it….Not overly bulky.Don’t have to pre-measure water, just select the amount.[/review6]<!– .
