We have been in need of a coffee maker for a while but I hesitated because each product had bad reviews.PROS: Where you pour the water goes in very easily.I want to like this Hamilton Beach. We put a different brand of filter in and still it overflowed.Ran a 12 cup pot of water through it using 1-4 cup brew setting.ALWAYS bought Mr.However, if you take a cup right after it is brewed you will need to heat it up to drinking temp in the microwave.Doesn’t matter how little or much coffee grinds I put in or how I position the pot, it’s constantly overflowing everywhere! I have wasted a ton of coffee remaking it and talk about an aggravating ordeal first thing in the morning!! Unfortunately my return window closed so I can’t get my money back. The design is very easy to use and I like that the water can be added in the front.By far the biggest issue is the little spring-loaded nozzle that lets the coffee flow from the basket into the carafe. The hard part is finding a good coffee to brew. When I called customer service, I was told to cut the cord in half and then they would send a new one for $12.I’ve had it a week now and so far, so good.My fiancé is a baker, and wakes up at 4am or earlier for work.Main problem: The pot leaks EVERY time I pour from it.The rim recently got a leak.I bought a new coffeemaker because the drip delay on my old pot broke.Loved the auto-shut off and drip pause if I want to grab a cup before the whole pot is done.It had 4 stars and I figured all I wanted was a coffee maker, nothing fancy so it looked good. That only works when the coffeemaker is ON, naturally.

If you move the caraffe before the brew finishes, it pours all over the warmer plate. It makes warm coffee that immediately turns cold if you like to add even a spoonful of cold creamer from your fridge.I LOVE this new one.At the time I ordered the maker, I also ordered the suggested 100 pack of Bunn filters. This thing was not made correctly and I can’t use it.BUT – coffee tastes fine, no problem with spills at all, and the front-fill feature is terrific. My last coffee maker had to be pulled all the way out, and I had to open the top to put the coffee grounds in.I can decide if I like my coffee bold or regular. For one thing, the Mr.Supposedly this setting somehow works to optimize the flavor when making less than a full pot, but I didn’t find that it made a difference. Not only was I not nagged, l just got this today and already put it through its paces.I read reviews that said about the coffee not being as hot as they would like.We bought the water filter pods that were suggested, 2 for 8$ on amazon.DIDN’T like:The fact that the seal between the glass portion of the carafe and the plastic pour spout leaked uncontrollably when pouring HOT liquid from it.It’s easy to use and looks nice but after 2 weeks of making coffee in it, my coffee STILL tastes like PLASTIC.My persistent issue is this: when you’re brewing and overflow the filter, the grounds cause the flow cutoff valve to jam open and spill coffee all over your hotplate and counter when you take the caraffe out.I used the coffee maker once to brew 4 cups of coffee. The Mr.It has two ports to fill with water: front and back.If all I wanted to brew a pot of coffee I could have bought any old coffee maker.

What I have issue with is the design. The unit will start this series of clicking sounds, like it can’t siphon the water. One person said the unit is very tall.Unfortunately it stopped working today, with the tube that runs from the reservoir to the pot having cracked.Brews coffee, hot enough for me.The next morning I woke up to 4 cups of strong coffee and 6 cups of water all over the counter.I absolutely love the programming feature! I set it all up last night to brew at 0645.It fits great on our counter and the front fill makes it really easy to get going in the morning. We upgraded from a basic machine with nothing but an on/off button. So far, I LOVE the upgrade to the 46310.Tried the Bold setting, does not help at all.God design but really its a piece of garbage.if want a 12 cup lucky get 3 .Put a carafe of water in to clean.00.As some of the other reviews noted, it does take longer than expected to brew a pot of coffee.I decided it might be nice to upgrade.I had plug this coffee into a microwave and kept trying to make a coffee and it didn’t work. The reviews on this are mixed. This one fit the bill.
