Coffee, but, after 15 yesrs, it didn’t work thst well.I’ve washed the caraffe maybe once a month by placing it in the top part of my dishwasher. When you make coffee the spring that pushes up when you put the carafe in to let the coffee through doesn’t go back down right away and it leaks coffee onto the warming plate.I drink coffee all day and really appreciate good taste.Red side panels look and feel very cheap. It works well, love time automatic timer, and coffee very hot. They all cost 2 or 3 times as much as this one did.The coffee pot is the first one I have had that really pours the coffee into the cup without a drip! I have been through quite a few coffee makers over the years, this is a total first for me ? The base is light weight plastic, kind of cheap if you inspect it closely.Lights are on but it won’t start brewing. The no drip alone makes this pot worth buying and at such a reasonable price (28.I am a big coffee drinker. The thing I really like about it most drip coffee makers get condensation on the lid and when you open the top it drips all over the counter. But the fact that this thing is red must let a lot of people overlook the fact that it’s also junk.I have no complaints about the quality of my cups of coffee. So if you want to make less than 4 cups of coffee, the grounds get pushed to the side and all you get is tinted water.I mainly purchased it for the price and the color red.My roommate wanted to get one, so I looked at all the reviews and this one came up on top for me.It’s about what I expected for relatively low end coffee maker.
. I bought this because it was very attractively designed and because I thought this was a good name.the display is hard to read .I have had the machine only a few weeks and I have gone through two carafes already due to breakage. They all last a long time with daily use, adds a nice touch to my kitchen. This coffee pot almost caused a serious problem. Also, it doesn’t have a basket coffee filter.Wish it came in other colors this color might not look right in some kitchens but I’m a bachelor who rents so I don’t care much ? I bought the red one because the black color one costs $20 more.(Be warned, my coffee standards are pretty low.My last coffee pot lasted ten years ? Nice basic coffee maker.I do find it a little awkward to pour water into the reservoir—maybe it’s the shape of the opening, but I almost always spill a little — but it’s a minor complaint and I otherwise think this is a good coffee maker for the money. What more could you ask for?[/review4][review5] I bought this item on December 30,2012; it is now February 11, 2013 and it is broke, will not brew.It is made of cheap looking, dull plastic.Bold option is a bonus. Two big differences between this and my "late" older machine: basket filter instead of the cone filter, and this one has a burner/glass carafe instead of thermal carafe. The reasons it’s not 5 stars is the length of time that it takes to clean.
Now for the daunting task of trying to return it to the manufacturer as the time has run out for an Amazon return.Works well! I bought this coffee maker for my brother and his wife and they love it.I’ve had others in the past, but this one is just superb…. This coffee maker is generally OK.It is programmable and stays warm.I did this again to make sure it wasn’t a one time thing and it did the exact same thing with the next batch of water i poured in.I used to work for a coffee company, so I’ve had a lot of experience selling coffee makers. When you open the lid on top of the machine to pour in the water, condensation of old water from the day before at least a tablespoon drips down from the lid into the water reserve area.We bought it to replace an older version of this same pot that stopped working after many years of use.00 so I’d say that I got my money’s worth..Would buy again. It made good coffee, brewed very quickly and was easy to setup for auto-brewing.No other complaints. However, I broke the carafe and to replace it would have cost $23.We receive it for Christmas and so far they are not complaints about quality or the product. This is our 3rd coffeemaker like this because the price is right and we like the red.
