This particular model with the two methods of brewing looked like a great choice.PackagingWhen the box arrived, it was packaged nicely.I usually make one 10oz cup thru the k-cup feature every day and my wife makes a cup every other day thru the mini basket. You press and click the kcup down in the bottom before closing the lid and you will never have that issue. I’ve read several reviews on here and I’m disagreeing with the haters! The k cup works great if you use grounds instead of pods u must clean it.It’s very easy to understand how to use and take care of and I would gladly recommend this to any of my friends and family that love both K-Cups and the ability to use their own grounds whenever they like.At first, it was great… exactly what I was looking for! Then, after a month or so, I began to notice a small pool of water under the machine when I was making that first cup in the morning. On the plus side, the coffee brewing is top notch and brews just like my old Cuisinart.17, 2017 so it is a bit more than 3 months old.First few times using it I thought "well, it’s a little slower brewing than others, but still it’s pretty. We mostly drink a full pot of decaf in the morning, but the occasional cup of regular is nice.Received the new carafe and filled the reservoir for the first time cleaning… water all over my kitchen counter. The bronze color is so pretty, and fit perfectly into my kitchen design.Called customer service and nothing they told me worked. Most of the makers I have had were Cuisinart brands, but 2 were Keurig I love this machine and have not found any issues in the few weeks I’ve had it.Coffee of 5 or 6 years started to really show its age, I decided it might be nice to pull the trigger on such a premium device as I drink and enjoy a lot of coffee.Initially it worked as advertised; however, this morning we began experiencing a problem with the single cup side. The cover for the large pot side buckled when hot, the carafe came with a cheap plastic lid that I wouldn’t expect from them and the single serve side spit water every where.Bought this unit as a gift.

Bought this unit as a gift.I was sadly disappointed.I’m not going to discount some of the reviews I’ve read, but we all know there are people that couldn’t breath on their own if it wasn’t naturally automatic.I have read all the reviews about leaking but I have not experienced any issues.I wanted the convenience of a K-pod machine and a Coffee Pot as well, but not two appliances.Have had absolutely no problems using a variety of K-cups.Rather than replacing it immediately we called Cuisinart, they thought it ma be the small reservoir and sent a replacement for the small reservoir. They worked. We are glad we took a chance. When Amazon offered it at a low price for Prime customers just before Christmas, I treated myself and bought it.First of all, it worked very very slow! Then it started to explode the pods! Now it does not work at all – just the side where the large pot is.The 12 cup coffee side worked fine; the single serve side did not work well at all. Here are some pros and cons that I’ve experienced during that time:Pros:– I don’t have to make a whole pot to enjoy a cup of coffee– When I pour the coffee from the carafe, it doesn’t spill!– 3 cup sizes for the K-Pod option– Water reservoir for the K-Pod is removableCons:– It’s a little bit tricky to add water in the main reservoir as the opening is very small– I wish they have an option to make a larger cup of coffee from the K-Pod side – Would have been nice if I can put the cup higher and closer to the spout on the K-Pod side as the coffee would splash out when it starts to pour. So…I thought this was the perfect choice to eliminate having several appliances on the counter.Great brewed coffee and nice and hot K-cups with three size choices: 6-8-10 oz.All the reviews are either a love or a hate.Tried calling Cuisinart and got put on hold for 30 minutes.I decided to try a non-Keurig with carafe AND single for kcups .I am in the market for a new microwave and I will not be buying a Cuisinart product again!!![/review4][review5] Bought this based on reviews and wife’s color preference.

Brewing coffee with the selector is somewhat difficult and timer shuts off heater wayyyyy too soon.Coffee splattered all over the counter every single time.I bought this coffee maker at Christmas 2018 because I wanted to replace the single serve and regular coffee maker I had. That thing could almost light up my kitchen at night.See Photo.I was tired of having two chunky coffee makers taking up valuable counter space! I bought a Hamilton-Beach Flex Brew before and just didn’t care for the way it worked.I was looking forward to getting it, and thought it would be a great choice because it’s a Cuisinart product.Several cons on this machine: When you use the Single Serve side , you have to put paper towel down next to the coffee machine as it splashes coffee all over the countertop. One, you better make sure that you press the k cup down firm or it will not pierce the cup when you close the lid. This unit offers him both options, but he hasn’t brewed a full pot yet. We’ve only had it a month and a half, but it makes terrific coffee and all features work as they should. It does not splatter at all! I have tried using it with regular sized coffee mugs and taller yeti cups. They make the BEST drip coffee of any machines I’ve had.You have three temperature settings for the hot plate under the pot.Not happy. You don’t want to miss, or you have water coming out all over the hot plate and counter.Instead, it instantly heats water through coils and finishes pushing the water through the coils with a small in line air pump. Now the single-serve side just spits out a bit of water, makes an elephant-like sound, blows a poof of steam, stops brewing, and all three lights flash. So I’ve always just stayed with tea. Here is my honest assessment “Jack of All trades, Master of None”.
