There are many simple solutions to all the problems you may be encountering. Also, if any moisture at all got into the base, it would trip a breaker.I went for the Cuisinart the second time around. The headline says it all… Perfect Love this percolator. Some reviews were bad well I like mine for the price you can’t beat it.Tried a paper filter and then it wouldn’t drain. The flavor of the coffee is actually going back up the percolator and coming back down getting more of the flavor out of the coffee. You do not need a filter!! We were using a percolator filter and kept getting coffee grinds in the coffee! Once we googled it, we realized you do not need A filter like our old Presto pot!, That is definitely another plus for me! You can only make 8 cups of coffee, anymore you get grounds in the coffee![/review2][review3] I go thru coffee pots very quickly .I was so tired of the drip-thru pots – inconsistent flavor, not hot enough, had to clean the pot & the water reservoir & the drip-thru section.I think it shorted. It was wonderful, made great coffee quickly, only had a slight dent on top.No distortion regarding flavor of coffee made with this product.I’ve had other, non big name brand perculators last 1-2 years, at least.

When this one showed itself in my email, I thought I should try it.even my 12 year old makes coffee with it.Great design and very nice looking.Other than that, it is a great purchase. Can’t tell it was reburbished and a great price.easy to clean and makes a great cup of coffee.I would have given it a 5 star review if it were made of glass. As soon as I plug it in the breaker tripped.Went back to using a Mr.00 for a new one.

I couldn’t find a comparable, new percolator for under $50.No matter what coffee or the grind of our beans the coffee taste terrible. We purchased because my parrents were coming for a visit last year and stated that they only drink percolator coffee. It brews quick and the smell of coffee brewing is awesome.I was using a drip machine before. Just stopped working not even a year old.It was great while it lasted, but not worth the money.Cuisinart does not do a good job with taste and doesn’t stay as hot as other brands.Brews A bit faster than drip pots.I was ready to shell out $50+ for one when I ran across this one. This one feels much more sturdy, like the percolator we had for YEARS that finally died! Good coffee! Recommend! .entry-content –><!– .Completely delighted with the coffee it brews.Less than a week after putting it into use.It is very sleek, doesn’t take up a lot of room on the counter & makes great coffee in around 4 minutes.
