Before you purchase one, it’s important to understand how and why.We have tried several different kinds of coffee but it has made no difference.Hey Bunn, time to bring back production to the USA!!! I’ll gladly pay $5 or $10 more for a product made here in the USA with USA parts that don’t smell.2019 but just opened it when my old Bunn was about to give out. This maker is cheeper quality and smells of inferior plastic from China. The spray head is even the same as our old Bunn.I have contacted Bunn several times to try to get them to replace this coffee maker. It smells like burning plastic.Coffee for about four months..I’ve loved all of them, and used them until they wore out.I guess it’s the inside of the water chamber getting hot.We had heard amazing reviews on bun coffee makers so we bought this one back in August.Great brand, great name, great reviews! Love this coffee maker so much. This will be my 6th Bunn and I have been using Bunn coffee makers for over 25 years…they last!!! Oh yeah one last thing. This model is a touch faster than the CSB1 and came with a different sprayhead.Am usually in a rush and this coffee maker is what I was looking for.Not bitter at all and brews very fast.Tasty hot coffee instantly.

my biggest challenge is getting the right amount of coffee as I use several different blends and since I don’t drink it I have to remember how much I use of each one to get it right. This one looks very nice but the coffee wont say very hot on the burner .First, the commercial size BUNN filters will fit. Some quick tips for new users. We don’t like to leave the coffeepot plugged in all day so the setting up ea.It suppose to be a fast brewer but it has 2 switches and to get hot coffee you must let the pot boil then after about 5 minutes you close the lid to let the hot water filter through, so its far from fast.I grew up in a house that had the same Bunn velocity for years and more to come, so I figured they were worth the money.Im not sure if its because the water filters through the coffee so quickly, or because the water is already hot, but this maker sucks the flavor out of every ground bean it sees. The bunn is nicely built but the coffee comes out very weak.Easy to delime without using vinegar, and limes up less often.Doesn’t have the bitterness of most drip coffee makers.I feel like I’ve FINALLY found the right one this time! It’s only been a couple months so I can’t say how long it’ll last, but so far I’m just very impressed and I’m drinking more coffee than ever because it’s SO good I can’t cut myself off! We’ve had 2 Bunn coffee makers in the past 20 years and they are all easy to use and they are fast.I will always have a bunn as I can’t wait more than 3-4 minutes for my first pot of coffee. It’s FAST, easy to use once you get the hang of it, and dependable. No digital controls or screens to go bad. I ended up replacing this coffee maker and going to a regular drip style.I waited too late to late to return it.2018and today Jan 2019 it no longer turns on or heats up.

We have had this plugged in for a week and our house still smells like burned plastic. It doesn’t effect the coffee taste. When we received the new Bunn it looked different than our old one. This cost a lot for it to just brake .It worries me! I cleaned the machine with vinegar, but the odor persists. This particular Bunn tho more stylish and as easy to use as my past Bunn coffee pots has a burner blue light It is very small and is not bright like the last two bunns i owned which had much brighter red lights to shine when burner was on.We tried to patch it but then the warming plate became unglued and fell inside the base. This will make our 4th or 5th pot in 20 years. Will buy nothing but Bunn in the future. JUNK! WE HAD A BUNN FOR OVER 15 YEARS AND NOT ONE HICCUP.It’s amazing how much of a difference a 10 cup machine makes.Makes good coffee..entry-content –><!– .This model accepts water better, is a bit more compact and looks great. It did have the epoxy smell for the first couple of weeks but it is either gone or I’ve acclimated to it.) There are reasons why Bunn is used by restaurants, and those are the reasons you should buy this or another Bunn model.
